In this blog post, we will show you how to crochet! We will start off with the basics, with a Foundation Chain. Once you have mastered this, you can build off of it into any type of crochet project.

All you will need is yarn of your choice, a crochet hook, and your excitement to learn something new!

 

Follow the step-by-step video below:

 

Step 1: Start by making a slip know, leaving a tail of about 8" of yarn.

Step 2: Insert crochet hook & tighten the slipknot. You should now have 1 loop on your hook.

Step 3: To start the chain, loop yarn over the hook. You should now have 2 loops on your hook.

Step 4: Pull the lower loop over the hook. You have now made 1 chain stitch. You should again have just 1 loop on your hook.

Repeat these steps 10 more times!
