Planting Instructions

Find a small spot (up to 5 sq. ft) with sun exposure, or indoors in pots. Remove existing grass and other growth and spread the seeds evenly. Do not bury; simply compress into the surface of the bare soil. Keep soil moist until seedlings are 4-6" high. Enjoy!

When to Plant

In spring, wait until frosts are past. You can also plant in summer but you'll have to water more frequently. In fall, plant after killing frost and your seeds will winter over just fine and then sprout for you in early spring. Blooms should begin approximately 2 months after sprouting.

Snap Your Sprouts

We can't wait to see your flowers! Share pics of your In Bloom sprouts or flowers on social media using #BEEFREE. We'll be sure to share some of our favorites. Thanks for helping make our world bee friendly!
